ScaleHealth: What does your company do?

Family Proud: Family Proud is a software solution that helps bring peace of mind to patients and families during their time of need. We provide emotional, logistical and financial support.

ScaleHealth: How are you responding to CV-19?

FP: These are unprecedented times. At Family Proud, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our entire community. This means our employees, contractors, and shareholders; our customers, vendors and business partners; most importantly our families, friends, and neighbors. We are closely monitoring this crisis as it evolves, and continuing to absorb guidance from scientists and public health officials. We are committed to doing what is right for the safety of our team members and for the families we support. We are also committed to continuing to move forward with our business. Sadly the need for Family Proud is only highlighted by recent events. As a company, we are well-positioned to continue to work remotely, support one another and keep growing. Thanks to the relationships we have developed and the community we have grown, I stand behind our strong team to move forward. There is no sideline to stand on for this fight and we all have responsibilities as individuals, community members and businesses to contribute where we can.

ScaleHealth: How has business changed for you as a result of the outbreak?

FP: As we are an early stage company we have been fortunate that no major work flows have been effected. As we move forward to support families in need, we will most certainly learn a ton and will continue to adapt to the changing situation.

ScaleHealth: How can your business support those fighting the outbreak of CV-19?

FP: Family Proud can help connect families who are looking for support or in need of support connect with people within their community. We can also help families who have loved ones remotely provide support. We are taking a hard look at how we can bring value and impact to families impacted by COVID-19 immediately. With our mission to bring peace of mind to patients and families, we are strongly suited to stand in a fighting position to help as many families as possible. Activation of community, supporting one another, there is no higher calling.

ScaleHealth: What silver lining do you see in these crazy times?

FP: Today, we face trying and uncertain times together amongst our families, community, nation, and the world. In both our lifetime and many times before, our world has stood in the face of adversity together. Although a dark time for many, there is a constant amongst us. The strength of family and community often shines the brightest when it is darkest out. As we stand together, remember that we will forge on. Remember that not everyone has someone to come home to at night, a family to love or be loved. Remember to go forth with compassion and respect for those around you as often our true colors show when it is darkest out. Take care of those around you and keep moving towards the light.
